Welcome to Kawhatau Outdoor Centre, Mangaweka, New Zealand

Deep in the heart of the Rangitikei District and 20minutes drive out of township of Mangaweka, the centre is an excellent spot for weddings, family gatherings, conferences and especially schools interested in outdoor adventures.

Orginally set up as an outdoor education centre, covering a 2ha area, the founders had the philosophy to explore and learn by experience. Since then, the centre has expanded to host many weddings and special events. The Kawhatau Valley, Kawhatau River, Rangitikei River and Ruahine Ranges are superb areas for all these experiences.
